Through his experiences in the military, entrepreneurship, and nonprofit leadership, Jeff has learned and grown passionate for helping people succeed. His diverse experience has taught Jeff consistent factors to be applied to leadership, culture, finances, and community.
About Jeff
Jeff leverages his unique experiences to share insights he has learned along the way.
Prior to founding Wright Wealth LLC, Jeff served as a managing director at NovaPoint Capital, a Vice President at Merrill Lynch, and a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. He is also a co-founder of 550 Capital Partners, a veteran-owned venture capital firm that invests in veteran-led startups.

Prior to his career in financial and economic consulting services, Jeff served as an officer in the United States Army. He served in 2nd Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 82nd Airborne Division and in 1st Bn 75th Ranger Regiment with combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.

His volunteer leadership activities include serving on his church elder board and as EVP of the US Army Ranger Association. He is also a member of the Atlanta Society of Finance and Investment Professionals and the NorthEast Cobb Business Association.

Jeff holds a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin, an MBA from the University of Maryland, College Park, and is a CFA Charterholder. He also holds a graduate certificate in Biblical Studies from Liberty University.

Personally, Jeff lives for the “three F’s”: Faith, Family, and Fitness. He is an avid fitness enthusiast and competes in triathlons, obstacle course races, and other road races. He loves to run with his daughter Kaitlyn, play sports with his son Jacob, and visit new restaurants and small towns with his wife Laura.
